Recent lunar missions have begun to take advantage of the benefits of low-energy ballistic transfers between the Earth and the Moon rather than implementing conventional Hohmann-like lunar transfers. This paper explores the characteristics and potential applications of many different families of low-energy ballistic lunar transfers. |
