dc.description.abstract The Galileo spacecraft is currently on its way to Jupiter and its moons. Various options for improving Galileo's telemetry downlink performance are being evaluated. Communicaitons during the Jupiter encounters will be via one of two low gain antennas on an S-band carrier. en_US
