dc.description.abstract Traditional navigation of interplanetary spacecraft involves the fitting of Doppler, range, and DOR tracking data to a mathermatical model of the trajectory. The models used to describe the spacecraft motion and error sources affecting the data were necessarily limited by the time and cost of running the programs on the computers available at the time. en_US
