Abstract:
The effects of lattice distortion on the physical properties of La 0.7Ca0.3MnO3 and La0.5Ca0.5CoO3 films are investigated. Our results suggest that larger substrate-induced lattice distortion gives rise to larger zero-field resistivity and larger negative magnetoresistance.
