Eighteen long-range flights over the Pacific Ocean from 38 degrees S to 20 degrees N and 166 degrees E to 90 degrees W were made during the NASA Pacific Exploratory Mission B (PEM Tropics B) conducted from March 6 to April 18, 1999.
